First up, a nifty new look will be rolled out this weekend here at the Cafe, with a fun link back to the past and modernized Retro look. This sweet new Cafe button is the first of a couple that will be a part of the updated site design.

Why all the fuss? Why the Celebration?

Well, I’ve alluded to it for a while, but it’s now official, my hubby is going to be joining me here at the Cafe occasionally, to blog about special needs parenting from a Dad’s point of view. His first post is scheduled to go live Saturday late morning and I’m excited about that. Jim has an added bit of awesomeness to share with my amazing readers, and I can’t wait to see your reactions to some of his first few posts (learn why he HATES the name of my awesome site, for example!)

I have a couple great guest posts going out over the next week, and some special reviews and even giveaways planned to help us move on through Autism Awareness Month.

I have also made plans to start releasing Awareness Graphic sets (which will always be free for you all to download) as we come to all the Awareness Campaigns that mark different diagnoses the guys in my life, and even myself, share. I am taking requests, and will be happy to consider making a set for your awareness event…just leave a comment and watch for an upcoming post for more details.
