It’s back! Twitter Tuesday at the Cafe! Theme – Epilepsy
Back by popular demand – Twitter connections via the Cafe – make special needs connections!
I meant to re-start these posts before, but let life get away from me, so let me announce that I would like to make this a regular, weekly, phenomenal kind of thing!
If there is enough interest and I’ll start doing Facebook Friday posts (Maybe Google+ Saturdays too?) as well! It’s all about making those connections – when you have a bit of awesomeness in the house you have to make those connections (to stay sane!).
I’m apologizing in advance, my first run of this post cut off the rest of the text and the LINKY that comes at the end. I would like to run this as an ongoing Linky, but I’ll run an updated post weekly by theme.
Special needs, of course, runs a very wide gamut. On Twitter, even if you know what you are doing, it can be easy to be overwhelmed, to be unsure who to follow, and how to find others who understand a bit about your world.
Depending on the different diagnoses in your own house, you might find a mix of people to follow who even have the exact same diagnosis array.
So Here’s How to Start Making Those Special Needs Connections on Twitter
We’ll offer a few folks to follow for you each week here at the Cafe, but the real value will be to follow the Linky at the end of each post to other sites who are also offering their own lists of recommendations.
This week at Kat’s Cafe, I wanted to offer a few folks for you to follow if you have a bit of awesomeness in the house, or autism. Now, I have previously posted about Autism connections on Twitter, about Autism Moms and Dads. This time around, I’d like to highlight a few organizations online that post great information, article links, and other tweets.
